A new age is coming. What the Apple iPod did for music, this could do for video. Who will reign supreme over this landscape?
That age is portable video. People will soon want their video media with them while on the road but who has the storage capacity for these memory hogs?
Check out ORB.COM
This website will stream video, music and photos from your hard drive at home to be called up anywhere that has a web browser that can play video. That includes PDAs. So far I've only had luck accessing my home's photo library while at work on my Palm Tungsten T5 PDA. This makes it excellent for showing photos without fuss. You don't need to worry about copying it to your SD card or memory stick. Just login and access your photo albums directly from your hard drive at home. Best of all, it's free. |
